Drafting Process

Map Side Selection
Before drafting, each player rolls 1d20. The player who rolls highest gets to pick which starting zone they want.

Draft Order
To determine who drafts first, each player rolls 1d20. The player who rolls highest choose whether they want to draft first or second.

Draft Pattern
The player who drafts first only selects 1 army card. Thereafter, each player drafts 2 army cards on their turn, switch back and forth between players until each players reach their point limits.

Common Cards
Each copy of a Common Army Card is a separate draft pick.

Point and Figure Limits
Once a player reaches their point limit, they may not draft further cards. Players may exceed the figure limit if they do not exceed the point limit.

Figure Placement
To determine who places their figures first, each player rolls 1d20. The player who rolls higher may choose whether they place their figures first or second. Players place up to 24 hexes worth of their figures in their start zone.
